In 2011, I graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Music Education (GPA of 3.8). I graduated from high school with an unweighted GPA of 4.0 passing various AP tests including Calculus AB, Literature, Language, US Government, US History, Music Theory, and Physics. I scored a 690 on the math and reading portions of the SAT and a 610 on the writing portion for a total score of 1990 (out of 2400). I also took the ACT for a composite score of 32. I am currently a certified Math and Music teacher.
Experience
I have 4 years of experience as a tutor for the subjects of math, reading, and writing. I also have 3 years of classroom experience teaching math (6-12), music, and reading comprehension. My teaching and tutoring experiences both include preparations for state testing. I am currently working toward a Masters in Mathematics. I love teaching students so they can achieve their highest potential. All people have the capacity to learn with the right guidance and teaching style. I work to find the perfect style to match the student as one-size teaching does not fit all.
